In the last panel, I see the water level is rising, but I am wondering is Almond being pulled in, or did he fall?
The background and sound effect seem to show him landing back into the water.
He's being pulled under, which might seem odd because the water appears so shallow. So it might be a little hard to read, I dunno. But it's supposed to be a little weird.
Gotcha, its just the 'Ker Plunk' effect that made me wonder. That's the sound I associate with something being dropped into water. And the background suggests he is closer to a wall now.
I probably should have gone with a "splash" effect... But ker plunk is so much fun.

Yeah, I was trying to go for something a little surreal and empty-feeling. Trying to capture that Dali feeling.
